The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) will revise the current Physical Education Content Standards. As a part of this process, a statewide committee of representative content specialists shall be established and maintained to review, revise, or develop new content standards.

2023 Summer Reading Kickoff Event - Bismarck

In an effort to reduce learning loss and enhance learning recovery for North Dakota K-12 students, the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction and partnering agencies will lead a statewide Summer Reading initiative, which includes a kickoff event on Wednesday, June 21, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the Capitol Lawn in Bismarck. 


2023 Summer Reading Challenge

Thursday, June 1, 2023 - Friday, August 25, 2023

NDDPI, in partnership with the North Dakota State Library and the Bank of North Dakota's College SAVE program, is hosting a statewide Summer Reading Challenge for North Dakota K-12 students. Students who complete the challenge through a participating public library will be eligible to receive a 529 contribution from College SAVE, and all participating public public libraries will receive a grant from NDDPI.

NDDPI 21st CCLC External Organization Profile Application Opportunity
