This resource is designed to help financial decision-making teams identify solutions to effectively utilize funds in implementing best education practices. This issue is top of mind for many state, district, and school leaders as they consider budgeting combined with comprehensive needs. When U.S. Department of Education funds are used to their full potential, states and districts can better support sustainable efforts that are evidence-based and focused on student outcomes. In this workshop, CREA and NDDPI will assist participants evaluate programs they have been funding, consider their immediate and future needs, and plan an approach that is financially sustainable and transparent. This training is intended for a team to plan and should consist of superintendent, principal, business manager, and other staff responsible for federal programs.
