The NDDPI oversees state and federal grants to support the development of literacy instruction to advance all student outcomes. In addition to monitoring program implementation, the department strives to offer technical assistance that informs improvement through the maintenance of the Literacy Plan. The North Dakota State Literacy Team, filled by application, informs the updates to the Literacy Plan.
