The Superintendent of Public Instruction shall approve the construction, purchase, repair, improvement, modernization, or renovation of any public school building or facility (or any other improvement to real property owned by the district) before commencement of the project if the cost of the project, as estimated by the school board, is in excess of $150,000.

Follow these steps:

  1. Fill out SFN 52304 and attach school board minutes authorizing the project.
  2. If the project is over $350,000, fill out the Facility Plan, SFN 52813.
  3. If your district is seeking a loan through one of the state-available loan programs, fill out and submit SFN 52306.
