The 2024 Summer Reading Kickoff will be held Thursday, June 20, on the Capitol Lawn in Bismarck! K-12 students will receive a free book (while supplies last), and the event will feature several "Meet the Author" opportunities. Area partners will be on-site to provide interactive and informative activities.

• Kat Socks, author of "Pickles the Dog” series: “Adopted in North Dakota,” “A Christmas Tradition,” “Goes to School” and “I'm a Spinosaurus, Bigger Than a T. Rex”
• Linsdey Undlin, author of “Stolen” and “Spiral”
• Lucas Wurtz, author of "Oscar the Little Pumper,” Bob the BIG Pumper” and “One Pebble Away”
