The North Dakota Legislative Assembly appropriated funding for the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) to continue to support professional development for North Dakota Advanced Placement (AP) instructors. This is an opportunity for the NDDPI to offer high-quality professional development for AP instructors by attending an AP Summer Institute (APSI).

Funding Periods

  • Round 1: June 1-30

  • Round 2: July 1-August 15

Qualifying Content Area

To be eligible to attend an APSI in a qualifying content area, the course must be on the following list and be on the instructor's teaching schedule with students enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year.

APSI applications are accepted and reviewed in the spring of each year while funds for the current biennium are still available. Applications are processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
