The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of two of its 2019 graduates and their high schools.  Millicent Schwartz, a Grand Forks Red River graduate, and Seth Benson, a graduate of West Fargo Sheyenne High, both earned perfect 36 composite scores on the ACT. Schwartz plans to attend Cornell University this fall to study mechanical engineering. Benson is attending West Point Academy to study political science and economics and to become a U.S. Army officer.

Nationally, approximately two-tenths of one percent of ACT testers receive a perfect score.  These two students were among approximately 7,400 North Dakota 2019 high school graduates who took the ACT at some point in their high school career. NDDPI congratulates Millicent Schwartz and Seth Benson, as well as Grand Forks Red River and West Fargo Sheyenne High Schools!
