The North Dakota Science Content Standards provide educational guidelines for school and district curriculum development. These standards embed content from physical science, life science, earth and space science, and engineering and technology to help learners engage in the scientific process, communicate scientific arguments, and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate scientific information.
The North Dakota Science Content Standards contain connections that allow learners to investigate local, regional, and state-specific issues drawn from North Dakota’s natural environment, rich history, and abundant resources.
