The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction is partnering with New Classrooms to co-design a new model for middle school math learning. This effort aims to strengthen math proficiency by combining high-quality instruction, flexible learning structures, and tools that support personalized, competency-based learning.
To ensure the design reflects the realities of North Dakota classrooms, we’re inviting up to 20 innovative educators in grades 6-8 to help shape this new model during the 2025–2026 school year. Teams of teachers from the same school are particularly encouraged to apply, but individuals are also eligible. All participants will receive compensation.
