- Legal supervisor must be a parent or legal guardian
- File Statement of Intent with district of residence. Wait 5 days before starting. Renew annually for each child age 7 or older
- Instruction at least 4 hours per day and at least 175 days per year. Keep annual academic records
- Testing in grades 4, 6, 8, and 10 unless you qualify to opt out
- Monitoring required only if the parent does not have a diploma or GED
- Meet ND graduation credit requirements including 1 credit in computer science or cybersecurity
- Opportunities include public school courses, extracurriculars, and North Dakota Scholarship eligibility
