BRIDGE Open Office Hours – Infinite Campus SIS Admin: The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) and project partners will continue to hold general Office Hours on a weekly basis. During the month of September, additional Infinite Campus (IC) experts will be joining these sessions to help answer questions around specific topic areas. The session next week will be focused on all things SIS Admins may need/want to know (User security tools, System configs, Ad Hoc reporting, Messenger 2.0, Payment & food service).

Fall Enrollment Report
Please keep the following critical details and timelines in mind as you review your enrollment data:
- STARS is a Living Report: Edits can continue to be made to your STARS enrollment report even after it has been submitted. NDDPI will use this submitted data to clean up any duplicated student counts caused by multiple enrollment codes
- Funding Requirement: Per NDCC 15.1-27, your fall enrollment report must be submitted before the Oct. 1 state payment can be distributed
- Data Snapshot Deadline: NDDPI will take the official data snapshot during the third week of October. Any changes made after this snapshot is taken will not be reflected in your final fall enrollment count for on-time funding
Please review your STARS reports closely over the coming weeks to ensure all student data is accurate before the October snapshot.
NDHSAA Eligibility Report Now Available
The North Dakota High School Activities Association (NDHSAA) Eligibility Report is now available in Infinite Campus under Reporting > Data Validation > Data Validation Report.
- Ensure you've selected the current high school your would like to run the report for in the context selector
- Choose Data Validation Group > Academic Eligibility
- For Output Options, keep Report Processing > Generate Now
- Choose Format Type > Excel
During configuration, we identified that some districts do not have Grade Point Average (GPA) Weight values set in the Course Master. The report generates two tabs in Excel. The first is the list of your students with their eligibility results. The second is a list of courses that are missing the GPA Weight value.
Also, please make corrections immediately to ensure that all courses in Course Master have the GPA Weight field populated in Infinite Campus. Many systems, including the eligibility report and State level reporting, depend on this data to accurately calculate GPAs for district reporting, and missing GPA Weight values will result in reporting delays.
The report is in it's first draft. If you find inaccuracies in the calculations, please report it to BRIDGE@nd.gov.
Service Now for BRIDGE Related Questions
Please submit all BRIDGE-related questions through a ServiceNow Incident. This ensures your request is properly tracked, routed, and resolved as quickly as possible.
You can access the ND ServiceNow Helpdesk here: Login - Service Portal. Please select "Incident" when filling out a ticket.
We will continue to monitor the BRIDGE@nd.gov inbox, but please begin using ServiceNow for all future questions and requests.
Update on Tool Rights for Special Education Staff
One concern reported by districts is that when teachers are not granted Delete Tool rights in Infinite Campus, they are unable to remove or edit accommodations, modifications, supplementary aids and services, or other items in an IEP or evaluation document.
Infinite Campus has confirmed that districts can grant these rights without allowing teachers to delete entire documents. Districts may assign Delete Tool rights specifically within the Document Section tool, which permits editing within sections while preventing full document deletion.
These tool rights are located in Special Ed -> Plan -> Document Section and Special Ed -> Evaluation -> Document Section.
Districts are ultimately responsible for determining and assigning the appropriate tool rights for each staff group.
K12 Solutions Student Search now available
The K12 Solutions Group’s Student Search module is now available for districts using Infinite Campus. This tool allows users to easily search for students based on specific filter criteria or copy/paste a student list to generate the Index in Infinite Campus. As a reminder, this is one of three additional modules purchased by NDDPI.
