Opportunities for Support
BRIDGE Open Office Hours: The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) and project partners are now holding general Office Hours on a weekly basis. Our next session is scheduled for next Wednesday, Aug. 19, 12-1 p.m. CDT.
Enrollment Codes Support Sessions: NDDPI will host support sessions to answer questions and provide guidance on student enrollment and exit coding scenarios, including primary and partial enrollments, open enrollment, tuition-related enrollment codes, residential facility placements, cross-site enrollments, funding and assessment responsibilities, and proper use of exit codes. The session will also include time for open discussion and Q&A.
SSO & User Authentication Support Sessions: As part of the transition to Infinite Campus, districts will be required to use a Single Sign-On (SSO) provider so staff & students can securely access the Infinite Campus student information system (SIS). We will also cover the generation and management staff usernames and staff IDs that support authentication in Infinite Campus.
K12 Solutions Group: Substitute Teacher Module Training: Infinite Campus’ channel partner, K12 Solutions Group, will host two training sessions related to their “SubLink” package which allows schools/districts to efficiently manage substitute teacher access and required functions within Infinite Campus. As a reminder, this is one of three additional modules purchased by NDDPI available in all district instances of Infinite Campus. The sessions below will also be recorded:
Child Nutrition Town Hall: NDDPI, in partnership with Infinite Campus, will be hosting a Child Nutrition Town Hall. This session is designed to help child nutrition and lunch staff prepare for the upcoming school year in Infinite Campus. The session will also include time for open discussion and Q&A.
Infinite Campus Scheduled Downtime – Aug. 15
Districts, please be aware that Infinite Campus will undergo an update on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 2 a.m. CDT. This update will address issues we’re experiencing regarding cross-site enrollment.
During this maintenance window:
- The database and UI will not be accessible.
- Anyone attempting to log in will see a maintenance screen, which may display the default message: “An Unknown Error has Occurred.”
- The outage is expected to last 30-60 minutes.
- If your district has nighttime integrations, please ensure they are adjusted to avoid this downtime window.
As we transition from Implementation to Operations with our new Student Information System, we are in the process of establishing a more routine cadence and communication process for future system updates. We apologize for the late notice on this important system update.
Infinite Campus: Hypercare Period
As your district transitions to the new Student Information System, Infinite Campus will be entering a Hypercare period during your first week of school.
Hypercare is a dedicated support window designed to help stabilize the system and support your staff as everyone becomes familiar with new workflows. During this time, you can expect:
- Enhanced support availability
- Faster response to high‑impact issues (attendance, grading, enrollment)
- Clear communication about known issues and workarounds
- Extra patience as we all learn together
It’s normal for things to feel slower or unfamiliar at first. Infinite Campus’ focus during Hypercare is accuracy, stability, and support, not speed or perfection.

New NDDPI Resource Hub Guidance
Infinite Campus Child Nutrition Checklist: NDDPI has created a Infinite Campus Child Nutrition Checklist that is designed to help districts confirm that critical components are in place and functioning correctly at the start of the school year, supporting compliance with state and federal child nutrition program requirements.
Special Education Data Standards Guidance: NDDPI has released Infinite Campus Special Education Standards to give North Dakota districts and special education units a set of guidelines for entering data into the student information system. The Standards provide a series of screen shots and an explanation of the data elements required for state and federal reporting.

TieNet Reminder
As of June 30, 2026, TieNet has been officially locked down and will now serve exclusively as a historical reference. This means that no new staff should be entered into TieNet, and creating new documents within the system is no longer allowed. Please, communicate this to your staff immediately.
Moving forward, please make sure to create all new documents in Infinite Campus. If any documents have been created in TieNet since July, these documents will need to be created in Infinite Campus. If special ed staff do not have access to documents in Infinite Campus, the special education templates from TieNet needs to be utilized until access to Infinite Campus is gained.
SubLink Module Now Available Statewide in Infinite Campus
NDDPI is pleased to announce that the SubLink module from K‑12 Solutions is now available for all districts in Infinite Campus.
NDDPI is also working closely with K‑12 Solutions on statewide configuration for the 504 module and the Advanced Student Search module, including settings review, mapping needs, and alignment with state reporting requirements before full rollout.
Districts can expect additional documentation and recorded training resources for SubLink, the 504 module, and Advanced Student Search as they are finalized and added to the NDDPI resource hub.
We will share further updates as configuration work is completed and modules become available for district use.
Direct Certification / NDIIS
NDDPI continues to make progress on data integration between STARS and Infinite Campus. North Dakota Immunization Information System (NDIIS) enrollment and direct certification for Free and Reduced Meals are expected to be fully operational during the week of Aug. 17.
