Opportunities for Support
BRIDGE Open Office Hours – Special Education: The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) and project partners will continue to hold general Office Hours on a weekly basis. During the month of September, additional Infinite Campus experts will be joining these sessions to help answer questions around specific topic areas. The session next week will be targeted at answering questions around the Special Education module in Infinite Campus.
Please join us next Wednesday, Sept. 23, 12-1 p.m. CDT.
Transcripts / eTranscripts Town Hall: The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) will host a support session next week focused on student transcripts. Topics will include accessing historical transcript data, configuring Infinite Campus to generate new student transcripts, and updates on the state's progress toward electronically sending transcripts to higher education institutions. District staff involved in transcript management are encouraged to attend.
Join us next Tuesday, Sept. 22, 3:30-4:30 p.m. CDT
K12 Solutions Group – 504 Module Training: Infinite Campus’ channel partner, K12 Solutions Group, will host a series training sessions related to their 504 Module. As a reminder, this is one of three additional modules purchased by NDDPI and will soon be available in all district instances of Infinite Campus. The primary audience for these sessions will be 504 Coordinators + SIS Admins and will cover initial setup/configuration activities to effectively manage 504-related data in Infinite Campus. After setup is complete, end-user training will be the responsibility of each district as there will be unique processes and data capture from district-to-district.
Session #1 – 504 Dashboard, Cycle of Developing a plan, parent options, new meeting options, staff dashboard, print/review forms & reports, uploading 504 docs.
Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1-3 p.m. CDT (Same as morning session)
Session #2 – Import option, historical data, import history, settings and district customization options, tool rights for users.
Thursday, Sept. 24, 1-3 p.m. CDT (Same as morning session)
Review Enrollment Records in STARS Staging
District staff can review rejected enrollments in STARS Staging and see the specific rejection reason (via the staging DPI message field on the IC Staging Area Export).
Common issues include missing/incorrect residential education entity, mismatch between enroll code and residential entity, invalid/missing StateID, or previously exited and returning.
Previously there were conflicts when the start date of an enrollment marked as ‘no-show’ conflicted with the start date of the corrected enrollment; neither enrollment was flowing to STARS. DPI changed the logic this week to ignore the conflict and allow the actual enrollment to flow.
Correct the data in Infinite Campus and the record will be picked up on the next nightly run.

Cross Site Enrollment
NDDPI has received questions about how cross‑site enrollments appear in Infinite Campus, especially when students attend courses at schools with different start dates. Below is a quick overview to help clarify how these records function and how they impact funding.
How Cross‑Site Enrollment Appears on a Student’s Schedule
When a student attends classes at more than one school, their schedule will display the start and end dates for each cross‑site roster record. This ensures that the student’s course schedule accurately reflects when instruction begins at each location, even if the calendars differ.
How Cross‑Site Enrollment Affects the Primary School Calendar
The primary (home) school’s calendar does not change due to cross‑site enrollment. Cross‑site information only affects the student’s course schedule—it does not alter the main school calendar in any way.
Funding Considerations for Full‑Time Students
Funding for full‑time students, resident, open enrolled, tuition waived, and others continues to be based on the primary enrollment record.
If the primary school starts on Aug. 20, that remains the official enrollment start date.
Cross‑site enrollment does not change the primary enrollment date or the funding calculation tied to it.
FRAM Eligibility Transaction Fix
Infinite Campus has identified an issue where FRAM eligibility end dates from last year were overlapping with 2026–27 start dates. A fix was implemented on Sept. 16 to update and correct the end dates for all 2025–26 records to prevent these overlaps.
Infinite Campus will also be running a meal transaction fix to correct any meals that were processed with an incorrect eligibility. NDDPI will contact affected district lunch staff with more information.
Managing Transcript Requests
Districts will need to establish a local process for students and families to request High School transcripts (at least in the short term). We understand that managing transcript requests represents a new responsibility for many districts, as this was previously handled through the legacy eTranscripts solution.
While this requires adjustments to previous workflows, districts will have flexibility in how they support transcript requests, including the use of online forms, help desk processes, or other locally managed procedures that best meet the needs of their students and families. Consistent communication and a clearly defined process will help ensure transcript requests continue to be handled efficiently and accurately.
Although the initial request process from a student or parent will be managed locally, NDDPI continues to finalize recommendations and integration options to ensure the actual generation and electronic delivery of student transcripts from Infinite Campus to post-secondary institutions are as consistent and streamlined as possible for all districts.
For more information, please join us at the Transcripts / eTranscripts Town Hall session next week (link above).

NDHSAA Eligibility Report Configuration
We are working toward rolling out the North Dakota High School Athletic Association (NDHSAA) eligibility report soon. During the report development, we identified that some districts do not have GPA Weight values set in the Course Master.
Please review all courses in your district's Course Master (Grading & Standards -> Course Masters) and confirm the GPA Weight field is populated for each. GPA Weight should match the course's credit value on the final grading task, since this is the value used to calculate GPAs for district reporting and other credit-dependent processes. A GPA Weight of 0.0 is appropriate for courses that shouldn't count toward GPA, such as pass/fail courses.
Infinite Campus Scheduled Downtime – Sept. 22
Districts, please be aware that Infinite Campus will undergo an update on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 2:00 AM CDT. During this maintenance window:
The database and UI will not be accessible.
Anyone attempting to log in will see a maintenance screen, which may display the default message: “An Unknown Error has Occurred.”
The outage may last up to one hour.
If your district has nighttime integrations, please ensure they are adjusted to avoid this downtime window. Release notes will be available on the Infinite Campus Knowledge Base after the release.
