English Language Proficiency Growth for English Learners

English language proficiency (ELP) growth for English learners (ELs) is a component in the North Dakota Accountability system to measure whether ND schools are effectively supporting EL students to ensure they have access to the curriculum. The ELP growth accounts for 10% of school's accountability calculation. Schools with less than 10 EL students in the calculation are exempt from the ELP indicator and the 10% is evenly distributed to the other accountability components.
