Praxis Update: At Home Proctoring: May 2020

ETS is beginning an “at-home solution” to test taking. Testing will take place through test taker’s personal desktop and laptop computers at home. Praxis Tests at Home will be available across the US and its territories until test centers return to full capacity testing.

Praxis at-home testing begins:

• May 15, 2020 Registration Opens
• May 18, 2020 Testing Begins

Not every Praxis test can be offered remotely, and the tests will be launched in two rounds:

• May 15, 2020 Registration opens for the 30 most commonly taken tests
• June 1, 2020 Registration opens for the next 16 most commonly taken tests

Please visit the ETS website to learn which tests will be available. The “At Home Proctoring” option will launch on the ETS website May 15, 2020.

• The Core Reading (5713), Core Writing (5723), and Core Mathematics (5733) will be offered May 15.
• Elementary Education: Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment (5017), and Principles of Learning and Teaching K-6 (5622) will be offered June 1
• Principles of Learning and Teaching; Grades 7-12 (5624) will be offered June 1
