ETS is “Regenerating” (updating) the Reading, Writing, and Mathematics tests and they now have new numbers. Please note the new test codes for Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. The North Dakota scoring will not change. This will go into effect September 2019.

If you wish to take all three computer-delivered Core exams (5713, 5723, 5733) at the same time, select Core Academic Skills for Educators: Combined Test (5752) when registering. Scores will be reported by individual test (5713, 5723, 5733).

‡Composite Score: 466
Note: North Dakota has instituted a composite score of 466. Beginning September 1, 2018, test takers must meet the composite score of 466 and meet a minimum score on each assessment.

  • Core Academic Skills for Educators: Reading — minimum score 149
  • Core Academic Skills for Educators: Writing — minimum score 153
  • Core Academic Skills for Educators: Mathematics — minimum score 143.

All test takers who have passed the Praxis Core prior to September 1, 2018, will be considered “passed” and do not need to retake the test.
