As a Custodian you will perform custodial services for all assigned areas at the Regional Training Institute located on the Camp Grafton Training Center in Devils Lake, ND. Duties include providing consistent custodial services while adhering to safety practices and procedures. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list.The position of the Custodian is to assist the Custodial Supervisor in maintaining and restocking inventory supplies. You will perform cleaning of restrooms, hallways, classrooms, sweep, mop, scrub floors and other surfaces, vacuum and clean carpets and entrance mats, strip, seal and wax floors, wash windows etc.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and may be required to work some weekends or additional hours, if needed.

As an Equipment Operator, you will perform highway, roadway, and structure maintenance. This includes operating heavy equipment to perform required maintenance duties like basic snow and ice control/removal. You will complete highway maintenance duties, which include assisting in installing, repairing, and maintaining highway signs and guardrails. To complete these tasks and others assigned, you will operate power tools and other equipment to perform maintenance duties. You will also perform minor preventive and repair maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Minimum Qualifications

To be considered as an Equipment Operator II, you must have a valid North Dakota Class A driver license without air brake restrictions and a cargo tank endorsement (N) by the first day of work. In addition, two years of relevant experience or one year of experience and one season of winter operations similar to NDDOT.To be considered as an Equipment Operator I, you must have a valid North Dakota Class B driver license without air brake restrictions.If unable to find a candidate with preferred experience, will consider filling this position as an Equipment Operator in Training, which requires a valid North Dakota Class A driver permit without air brake restrictions and a cargo tank endorsement (N) by the first day of work. The employee will have 12 months to obtain a North Dakota Class A driver license without air brake restrictions and a cargo-tank endorsement (N).This position requires reporting to work within 30 minutes, after hours, on weekends, and on holidays during emergency events.Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process and the required drug test, medical screening, reference check, driver record check and federal clearinghouse query screening.
