The North Dakota Highway Patrol makes an effort to ensure digital accessibility for users of all abilities, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen enlargement software, and alternative keyboard input devices to navigate the web.
We are continually working to improve the user experience and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers, developers, and content managers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. We are continuing to scan the website with accessibility-checking software and attempting to fix issues to meet compliance standards.
