Troopers conducted a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, June 23 in Dickinson at the intersection of Main St. and 7th St. SW. From 7-9 p.m., 289 vehicles passed through the checkpoint. Four drivers were evaluated and one was arrested for driving under the influence.
Following the checkpoint through the weekend, troopers saturated the area to remove impaired drivers from the roadways. Law enforcement issued the following:

nine citations, including one open container

25 warnings

two DUI arrests

one drug arrest

one warrant arrest
These saturation efforts were held in conjunction with the Dickinson Police Department and Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
