2024 NDHP Youth Academy
The NDHP is hosting a three-day residential Youth Academy for young adults (16-19) July 30-August 1, 2024, at the Law Enforcement Academy in Bismarck. In addition to learning about the work of the NDHP, attendees will get hands-on training in firearms safety, defensive tactics, traffic stops, crash investigation, and train with the scenario simulator PLUS students will earn insurance reduction and CPR certification. There is no cost to attend. On-site lodging at the LETA is available but is not mandatory. While applications are no longer being accepted for the 2024 Academy, you can be notified of the 2025 class by contacting Trooper Mike Wald, mrwald@nd.gov.
