DAR Marker Dedication
The North Dakota Society Daughters of the American Revolution invite you to join us in the rededication of Mrs. George Young’s DAR marker.
The dedication is to take place August 22, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Woodbine Cemetery (Located at 999 2nd Street Northwest) in Valley City, North Dakota.
A reception will be held afterwards.
Augusta Freeman Young was the North Dakota organizing regent in 1914-1915.

Red River Valley Genealogical Society - Writings of Family History, Stories and Memories
Red River Valley Genealogical Society will be publishing writings about family history records, family stories and memories.
For 2026, we are inspired to do something similar. We are asking, inviting, cajoling our members & others to write a 250 word essay about the meaning of 250, or write 250 words about a family revelation or 250 words to preserve a family memory or 250 on some compelling research you have done, or a submit photo worth 250 words or write a poem with 250 sentiments.
