Folkways is hosting a public ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony on Wednesday, July 9 at 11:30 a.m. in Roberts Alley in Downtown Fargo.
This mural directly connects Fargo-Moorhead to the national story of the semiquincentennial by celebrating patriotism and freedom through public art. Public art like this becomes civic infrastructure, a place in our community where history is visible every day.
The ceremony will feature remarks from Admiral Stewart Munsch, Mayor Josh Boschee, and other community and military leaders, followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
