4:15–4:30 pm MT / 5:15–5:30 pm CT: Scholar Q&A with Bill Chrystal

Brilliant, controversial, and endlessly fascinating, Alexander Hamilton helped shape the American government in ways that still affect us today.

In this Living History event, scholar Bill Chrystal brings Alexander Hamilton to life in a Chautauqua-style performance that explores Hamilton’s ideas, ambitions, and lasting influence on the nation’s financial and political systems.

Following the performance, “Alexander Hamilton” will answer audience questions in character. The evening concludes with a scholar-led discussion with Bill Chrystal, offering historical perspective and space for deeper conversation.

Whether you know Hamilton well or are meeting him for the first time, this event invites thoughtful adults to engage with history as a living dialogue rather than a distant past.

William G. “Bill” Chrystal is a nationally recognized living history scholar and performer, best known for his portrayals of Alexander Hamilton and John Adams. A former Navy Chaplain and longtime pastor, he has presented hundreds of Chautauqua programs across the country and hosted the nationally syndicated radio program The Thomas Jefferson Hour.
