The heart of the Germans from Russia community lies just over 200 miles west of Fargo in North Dakota counties like Emmons, McIntosh and Logan. While the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection resides at North Dakota State University, visiting the displays will soon be just a click away for anyone around the world.
The Germans from Russia Heritage Collection received a ND250 Community Initiatives Grant of $9,950 to help create a virtual tour of its permanent exhibit. The display shows the history and impact German Russian immigrants had on the region.
