The Midwest Travel Journalists Association (MTJA) will hold its 2024 Spring Conference in Bismarck-Mandan, North Dakota, June 12-16. The conference, hosted by the Bismarck-Mandan Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and supported by North Dakota Tourism, connects more than 30 travel journalists and destination marketing organizations for professional development, networking and exploring North Dakota.

The conference agenda includes workshops and sessions designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of travel journalists. Attendees will also participate in dedicated networking events to connect with fellow travel writers, editors, and industry professionals.

"Bismarck-Mandan provides a valuable opportunity for MTJA members to connect with colleagues, learn new industry trends, and experience the best of our state," says Bismarck-Mandan CVB CEO Sheri Grossman. "We're excited to welcome attendees and showcase the warmth and hospitality that Bismarck-Mandan is known for."

In addition to the professional development opportunities, the conference offers immersion tours that provide attendees with a firsthand look at Bismarck-Mandan's unique attractions. Pre-and-post media tours will also take place hosted by partnering North Dakota communities to highlight their cultural offerings, historical sites, and outdoor adventure.
