Join us as we celebrate North Dakota’s Statehood Day and launch ND250, North Dakota’s official commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary! This is a free event open to the public.

When: Sunday, November 2nd from 1-4 pm (CT)

Where: ND Heritage Center & State Museum, Bismarck, ND

1:00 pm - Opening in Auditorium

  • Welcome by John Dobmeier, Theodore Roosevelt Re-enactor
  • National Anthem by the Governor's Band St. Mary’s Central High School Wind Orchestra of Bismarck
  • Remarks by Bill Peterson, Director of State Historical Society of North Dakota and Chair of the ND250 Commission

1:30 pm - Performances in Auditorium

  • Jack Dalrymple, former governor and author of Oliver Dalrymple and His Bonanza Farm
  • John Dobmeier, Theodore Roosevelt Re-enactor 

2:30-4:00 pm - Booths and Children’s Activities in the Atrium and Hallways
