Audit Finds Purchasing Issues at Soybean Council

State Auditor Joshua Gallion today released an audit of the North Dakota Soybean Council that found the agency did not properly bid three purchases in fiscal year 2019.
"By soliciting competitive bids, we’re giving private vendors the opportunity to do business with the State of North Dakota,” Auditor Gallion said. “Addressing this finding will ensure the Soybean Council is acting in the best interest of taxpayers.”
