Location: Bismarck, ND State Capitol
Hiring Salary: $3,500 - $5,000 depending on experience

Summary of Work
The North Dakota State Auditor’s Office is working towards a better government by providing truthful, objective and independent information through audits for the citizens of North Dakota. We do this by following our core values: respect, excellence, leadership, integrity and teamwork.
- Review audit reports for grammar and comprehension, answer phones, monitor mail and maintain calendar for meeting rooms.
- Assist in updating and maintaining website content.
- Monitor review of Occupational and Professional boards in accordance with NDCC 54-10-27.
- Monitor records retention, maintain records series, and yearly record review and disposal.
- Monitor usage of state fleet vehicles.
- Assist agency with scheduling professional development; including tracking, notifications, materials, etc.
- Assist in agency billing and account receivable monthly duties.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts with management and assist with new staff orientation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree related to business, office support, or associated field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of work-related work experience. Additional work experience performing office and/or human resources support, clerical, or secretarial duties may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Proficiency in keyboarding, personal computer, grammar, and/or spelling skills is required.
- Must be able to visualize, articulate, conceptualize or solve both complex and uncomplicated problems by making decisions that are sensible, given the available information.
- Requires successful completion of the hiring process including references, background, and criminal record checks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read technical information for grammar and understand.
- Additional experience with PeopleSoft, including ConnectND Finance and ConnectND Human Capital Management.
- In addition to the required business or related degree and/or years of experience, having additional clerical certifications.
