Executive Summary:
The Office of the State Auditor conducted an audit follow-up on the performance audit of Medicaid Provider and Recipient Fraud and Abuse (report #3029) dated September 2, 1020. The objective of this audit followup was to determine the implementation status of the 21 recommendations presented in the performance audit report.
Findings:
The Medicaid Provider and Recipient Fraud and Abuse has fully implemented 8 of the 21 recommendations presented in the performance audit report, 11 recommendations were considered partially implemented and the remaining 2 were not implemented.
