E-Permits
View Instructions on how to register for an account and purchase permits online.
Permit requests for routine oversize vehicle and load movements can be obtained by:

Creating an account and logging in (preferred method - view instructions for help);

E-mailing a request if you need assistance purchasing a permit;

Purchasing identification supplements and self-issue permits; or

Contacting the Permits Section at (701) 328-2621. Normal business hours are Monday-Friday, 7:10 AM to 4:50 PM.

You must log in to purchase the permits listed below. A log-in is not required to purchase temporary registrations specifically for trucks or passenger vehicles, but a log-in is required to purchase temporary registrations for motor vehicles AND trailers that are part of a nonresident custom combine crew.
