BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Kelly Armstrong and the North Dakota Department of Labor and Human Rights (NDDOLHR) commemorate National Fair Housing Month, which is celebrated nationally in April each year in recognition of the passing of the Fair Housing Act of 1968 (FHA).
N.D.C.C. § 54-06-04 requires the Department of Labor and Human Rights to prepare and submit a biennial report addressing its operations for the preceding two fiscal years by December 1st of each year after the regular session of the legislative assembly.
Once again, as part of the North Dakota Department of Labor and Human Right's efforts to educate the public on laws enforced by the Department, they will be conducting free presentations in 4 new communities (virtual option available) on September 15, 16, and 17. Registration is required.
April is National Fair Housing Month. Governor Armstrong has issued a proclamation declaring April 2025 as Fair Housing Month in the State of North Dakota.
