The North Dakota State Auditor’s Office was honored with a third-place award in the category of Grassroots Marketing Campaign at the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Award ceremony. The event was held in New Orleans on May 22nd and celebrates excellence in government communications. This is the fourth time the State Auditor’s Office has been recognized with an award from NAGC. Other award winners included the United States Army, the Smithsonian Institution, and the U.S. Department of Education.
“These awards recognize the best of the best in government communications across the globe,” said NAGC President Tabitha Clark. “Every year, the pool of entries is extremely large and competitive. Winning one of these awards is a tremendous achievement.”
NAGC was established in 1976 and is the only non-profit organization dedicated to advocating, promoting, and recognizing excellence in government communication. NAGC provides world-class communication training to its members and non-member government communicators through its annual Communications School and monthly professional development opportunities.
