The North Dakota State Auditor’s Office was honored with a second-place award in the category of Technical or Statistical Report at the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Awards ceremony. The event was held in Pittsburgh on May 21st and celebrates excellence in government communications. This is the fifth time the State Auditor’s Office has been recognized with an award from NAGC. Other award winners included the United States Census Bureau, the Library of Congress, and the United States Geological Survey.

“These honorees have demonstrated the highest standards of excellence in public service messaging,” said NAGC President Leslie Gervasio. “Their work exemplifies the power of clear, creative, and impactful communication in informing and engaging the public.”

NAGC was established in 1976 and is the only non-profit organization dedicated to advocating, promoting, and recognizing excellence in government communication. NAGC provides world-class communication training to its members and non-member government communicators through its annual Communications School and monthly professional development opportunities.
