Auditor Gallion Statement on Signing of State Auditor’s Budget Bill

State Auditor Gallion today released the following statement after the Governor’s signing of Senate Bill 2004, the appropriations bill for the State Auditor’s Office.
“With today’s news that the Governor has signed all remaining bills of the 17-19 Legislative Session including the State Auditor’s Office appropriations bill, our team will now begin determining how these changes will impact the operations of our agency. Although this was not the outcome I had hoped for, I am invigorated even more to continue shining the light on our government and to provide our citizens with the transparency and accountability they deserve.”
