Governor Burgum delivered his 2018 State of the State Address at Minot State University, reflecting on the state's challenges and collective accomplishments during his first year in office and outlining strategies to empower people, improve lives and inspire success.

Burgum Speaks at First-Ever Main Street ND Summit

Governor Doug Burgum challenged communities to get involved now in envisioning their futures during his keynote address at the first-ever Main Street ND Summit, hosted by the North Dakota Department of Commerce at the Bismarck Event Center.

Flags to be Flown at Half-Staff

Governor Doug Burgum has directed all state government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Monday, February 19th, and encourage North Dakotans to do the same at their homes and businesses, as a mark of respect for the victims of Wednesday's shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

Morrissette Appointed as Director of OMB

Governor Doug Burgum has appointed Joe Morrissette as director of the Office of Management and Budget effective March 1st.

Campsite and Cabin Reservations

Starting February 14th, annual park entrance permit purchases, campsite reservations, and cabin reservations may be made either online or by calling 800-807-4723.

Game and Fish Department

NDGF Offers Wild Game Processing Workshop

North Dakota Game and Fish is looking for individuals age 15 and older who are interested in learning how to take harvested game from the field to the table. This half-day workshop will be held on March 17th with limited availability. For more information and registration, visit the website.

2018 Hunter Education Class Schedule

The 2018 Hunter Education class schedule has been released, students can sign up online. The class is required for hunters born after December 31, 1961.

February Declared American Heart Month

Governor Burgum has proclaimed February as American Heart Month to help raise awareness of the risk factors for heart disease and stroke.
