2018 Innovative Education Summit Announced

Gov. Doug Burgum announced the Governor's Summit on Innovative Education, to be held in June, along with an Innovative Education challenge and awards that will be presented at the summit. The awards will highlight themes of innovation, collaboration, systems transformation and student leadership.

The Department of Transportation will be holding ND State Fleet vehicle auctions on October 26th and November 9th in Bismarck, and November 15th in Fargo.

NASA's Hubble Space Telescope Exhibit

NASA's "New Views of the Universe: Hubble Space Telescope" exhibit is now open at the Heritage Center & State Museum. Featuring a scale model of the Hubble Telescope, visitors can learn how the telescope works and about Hubble's contributions to the exploration of planets, stars, galaxies, and the universe. Wild Turkey Hunting Season Open

North Dakota wild turkey hunters are reminded the season opened Oct. 14 and continues through Jan. 7, 2018. For further season information and regulations, hunters should consult the North Dakota 2017-18 Small Game Hunting Guide.

Deadline for Hay Transportation Assistance

The application deadline for the North Dakota Department of Agriculture's Emergency Hay Transportation Assistance Program (EHTAP) is Nov. 3. The program will reimburse eligible producers for a portion of hay transportation expenses incurred between June 1, 2017, and Oct. 20, 2017.
