First Lady Helgaas Burgum attends Opioids Summit

First Lady Kathryn Helgaas Burgum attended the White House Opioids Summit, which featured leaders from the Trump administration and Capitol Hill highlighting progress that has been made to address the opioid crisis since the President declared it a public health emergency last October.

Spring Turkey Drawing Held, Licenses Remain

The 2018 spring wild turkey lottery has been held and results are available on the ND Game and Fish Department website. Licenses will be mailed to successful applicants after they purchase their 2018-19 hunting license, available March 15th. A total of 554 spring turkey licenses remain in six units and will be issued on a first come, first serve basis beginning March 20th.

Moose, Elk, and Bighorn Sheep Licenses

North Dakota's elk, moose and bighorn sheep applications are available online at the State Game and Fish Department's website. The deadline for applying is March 28.

Little Kids, Big World at ND Heritage Center

Toddlers and Preschoolers are invited to the free interactive learning series, "Little Kids, Big World," at 10:30am on Mondays in March at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. These fun, hands-on 30-minute programs introduce children to North Dakota's fascinating history.

NDDOT Seeking Transportation Innovation Ideas

The North Dakota Department of Transportation is currently seeking submissions for the Transportation Innovation Program (TRIP). Trip seeks to identify and implement innovative solutions for transportation related projects. The deadline to submit an idea is March 26, 2018.
