Flags to be Flown at Half-Staff

Governor Doug Burgum has directed all state government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, June 24, in observance of the interment of fallen Gunners Mate 1st Class Arthur C. Neuenschwander.

Recovery Reinvented Event

Governor Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn Helgaas Burgum are inviting addiction recovery advocates, behavioral health providers, business and community leaders, faith-based organizations, families, first responders, health care providers and administrators, law enforcement, Native American communities, university and college representatives and more to save the date for Recovery Reinvented on Sept. 26, 2017, in Bismarck.

Governor's Photo Contest

Governor Doug Burgum and the North Dakota Tourism Division, in partnership with AAA of North Dakota and North Dakota Council on the Arts, are hosting the Governor's Photo Contest. All North Dakota photographers are encouraged to submit photos that capture the unique things to see and do in the state. Deadline for entry is August 31, 2017.

Medora Musical

Go out and enjoy some summer fun in Medora, ND. Don't miss your chance to see the Medora Musical this year. Set in the outdoor splendor of the rugged North Dakota Badlands, this professionally produced, western-style musical show is dedicated to the legacy of America's 26th President, Theodore Roosevelt, and the time he spent here in the Badlands.
