Served in Company G, 16th Infantry, to death. Overseas from June 12, 1917, to death. Wounded, severely, May 4, 1918. Engagements: Offensive: Aisne-Marne. Defensive Sectors: Sommerviller and Ansauville (Lorraine); Cantigny (Picardy).
