Born in Abercrombie, Richland County, North Dakota on 4 December 1917. Resident of Richland County North Dakota. Entered US Army at Fort Snelling Minnesota on 15 December 1939. Serviced Asiatic Pacific Theater. Died in Service October 24, 1942 while Prisoner of War.
