State Radio

The State Radio Communications System has over four thousand users representing two hundred and eighty-seven agencies of the local, state, and the federal government.

The Voice Radio System

Controlled from a single communications dispatch center located in Bismarck. It is connected to forty-six remote tower locations by telephone, cable, and fiber circuits, providing statewide voice communications.

Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)

Provides dispatched agencies with in-car real-time event information, mapping, and teletype queries.

Assists dispatchers in the communication center with event/dispatch tracking, officer awareness and agency tracking, making recommendations to dispatchers on responders during life-saving operations.

State Radio's Law Enforcement National Data Access

Provides local, state, and federal agencies with nationwide information on wanted felons, state to state information on crimes, and everyday police activities through connections to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and National Law Enforcement Telecommunication System (NLETS) and other local databases.
