The ICS 300 Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents and The ICS 400 Advanced Incident Command System Complex Incidents courses provide training and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents or Type 3 incidents.

Anyone with a direct role in an emergency management and response role must be NIMS and ICS trained. This includes all emergency service related disciplines such as EMS, hospital, public health, fire, law enforcement, public works/utilities, skilled support personnel, and other support and personnel. Command and General Staff should have the ICS 300/400 training. Prerequisite classes are IS-700, IS-800, ICS-100, ICS-200. These can be taken online at no charge at http://training.fema.gov/IS/NIMS.asp

This class will be held at the North Dakota State University Hettinger Research Extension Center, 102 Hwy 12 W, Hettinger, ND 58639.

Class times will be from 8 am to 5 pm each day.

A block of rooms will be held at the Mirror Lake Lodge until December 1, 2013. 701-567-4571.
