Hazardous Materials Contingency Planning Fargo

This course is for emergency management and response personnel responsible for hazardous materials planning and coordination. It covers emergencies including transportation, use, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and episodic releases of air-toxic chemicals from fixed site facilities. Emphasis is placed on interagency cooperation and identification of technical assistance that is available. ND State Emergency Operations plans, reporting requirements, and regulations will be addressed. Ray DeBoer, ND Department of Emergency Services, HazChem Preparedness and Response Program Coordinator is the lead trainer for this course.

This one day course will be held at the Fargo Public Works Building, 4630 15th Ave North, Fargo, ND. Class will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m.

ND Department of Emergency Services will reimburse participants traveling >50 miles for lodging and meal per diem according to state policy. Participants are responsible for making motel arrangements.
