ICS 300-400 Grand Forks

The Grand Forks Emergency Management Office has scheduled a NIMS ICS 300 Intermediate and ICS 400 Advanced ICS at the Manvel School, 801 Oldham Ave on July 29 - August 1, 2013. The classes will start at 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday.

Prerequisites for NIMS ICS 300 & 400 include the following:

1. IS-700.A: National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction 2. IS-800.B: National Response Framework, An Introduction
3. IS-100.B: Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100
4. IS-200.B: ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents

All prerequisite classes can be taken on line on the FEMA website as independent study courses at http://training.fema.gov/IS/crslist.aspx

Who is required to take NIMS ICS 300 & 400?
Those individuals that may be assigned as an Incident Commander, assigned to the Command Staff or assigned to the General Staff either on-scene or in the EOC must have NIMS ICS 300: Intermediate and ICS - 400: Advanced ICS.

Classes are free of charge and lunch will be provided.
