This course is designed for both new and experienced city, county, or tribal emergency managers and new employees at NDDES. Emergency managers will benefit by meeting NDDES program management staff, getting first-hand information on program requirements and state emergency operations, and networking with other county emergency managers. It is highly recommended that new emergency managers complete this important training. Experienced emergency managers will get a refresher and be updated on program requirements. This course will not include the Fundamentals of Emergency Management Course (IS-230.b) as in the past. However, we strongly recommend that you complete the fundamentals course on line prior to this training event.

This 3-day course will be conducted on June 3, 4, and 5, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day. The course will be held at the NDDES building number 35 on the Fraine Barracks installation.

NDDES will reimburse course participants traveling greater than 50 miles for motel and meals at state rates and policy. Participants are responsible for making their own room reservations.

Questions may be directed to Brenda Vossler, Training and Exercise Officer, ND Department of Emergency Services.
