Mass Care Management

This course is designed to provide training for local communities to prepare for and manage the mass care function effectively. The goal is to prepare community agencies, organizations, and businesses to work together in coordination with emergency management and traditional mass care providers to plan and provide mass care and emergency assistance services to those affected by disaster.

We recommend that you also register to come a day early and attend Hazardous Weather and Tornado Preparedness.

The course will be held at the Comfort Inn, 1030 E Interstate Ave, Bismarck. Registration will be from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., April 16. Istruction begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m., April 16 and 17.

A block of rooms has been reserved for class participants. Call the Comfort Inn at 701-223-1911 and reference the Mass Care (DES) block of rooms. Reservations must be made by March 31, 2014.

NDDES will reimburse participants for meals and lodging according to state rates and policy. Participants must travel a distance greater than 50 miles to be eligible for reimbursement.
