Registered McHenry county. Born, Towner, D. T., Aug. 7, 1888, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Towner on June 14, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 14th Division, Camp Custer, Mich., to Aug. 13, 1918; Company D, 14th Ammunition Train, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Oct. 7, 1918.
