Registered Morton county. Born, Lester Prairie, Minn., Aug. 30, 1895, of German parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Mandan on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 13th Company, 4th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 15, 1918; Supply Company, 78th Infantry, to death.
