Registered McHenry county. Born, Pelican Rapids, Minn., May 22, 1894, of Swedish-American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Towner on Sept. 6, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery C, 338th Field Artillery, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Jan. 1, 1918.
