Registered St. Paul, Minn. Born, Drayton, N. Dak., Jan. 5, 1890, of American parents. Occupation - baggageman. Inducted at St. Paul, Minn., on Sept. 21, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Headquarters Company, 351st Infantry, to Nov. 26, 1917; Company B, 348th Infantry, to death. Grades: Cook, Dec. 11, 1917; Sergeant, June 14, 1918; Mess Sergeant, June 14, 1918. Overseas from Aug. 24, 1918, to death.
