Biography:

Registered Wells county. Born, Bellecreek, Minn., June 24, 1892, of Norwegian-American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Fessenden on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 40th Company, 10th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 19, 1918; Headquarters, 5th Provisional Battalion, Engineers, to Sept. 16, 1918; Company G, 118th Engineers, to death.
